STY LANE, MICKLETHWAITE
Following the granting of outline planning permission for land at Sty Lane, Micklethwaite by the Secretary of State in September 2016 (REF: 14/00293/MAO) we are now presenting proposed details for our Reserved Matters Planning Application.
The outline and associated detailed permission for the access arrangements mean that the details to be considered in the next application are layout, scale, external appearance and landscaping.
The site is outlined on the map below and our proposals are shown on the plan on the next page.
Nationally, we are facing a growing housing shortage as people are living longer and in smaller households.
There are not enough homes being built to meet the demand and as a result there is a critical need to boost the supply of new homes.

We are asking people who live and/or work in the area to help us continue to shape the
proposals prior to the submission of a Reserved Matters planning application. If you have lived in the
area for a while you will remember similar exercises taking place during the preparation of the previous
